stitch

i am a big fan of stitch and yesterday just showed me how important and enjoyable it is too me. I started getting into sewing drawings from my a level course and was suprised when i went to university that i am one of the only one that does this for fun which is great as it's something i can really develop into my own. It's nice to have that personal and intimate conection to stitch, and i believe that stitch has helped me connect things together before that i may have not seen. I like a happy atmosphere and i feel by bonding fabric to stitch, bonds this feeling, joining things together, coming together as one. It's not just the stitch on show but also the back of the fabric interests me as sometimes it has created continuous line and developed it's own pattern which differs slightly from the front, and gives character!
