loving the outdoors.

This week so far hasn't been the sunniest but it has been fresh and slightly muggy! I have been trying to make the most of the bright outdoors, since our grass is growing it's looking so pretty and very inspiring to go out there! Not only that but me and jake have been taking long walks down countryside lanes exploring and having the odd game of tennis ! (which i'm not particularly good at but i like to let on to jake that im much better than him- as you do !)
Not only have i been being active outdoors but i am very much involved in painting my grandmas oil on canvas birthday present. My aunty kindly gave me a few photos of grandma when she was younger and i have selected a photo of herself and her mum. I hope she likes it i have spent a while on it, today hopefully is just final touches, dad has been giving me constructive critism so i know what needs improving and although it's slightly disheartening it allows me to know problem areas and how i can improve. It means also i can work harder at my technique and hopefully perfect it ! I am constantly learning this way and can try out new experimental things with oils. Not just oils as i have been using acrylics too, but i can apply the same principle to any kind of media.

A small patch of grass over in New Buckenham, that me and Beth wondered round and explored. There were some really fun and quirky buildings. I would of took some photos but i felt it was an invasion of a private space so just decided on mental snapshots !
For all of those who know me and read my blog you will fully appreciate the excitement over freshly grown grass. Not so long a go our garden couldn't of looked much different! It's still growing as it's fine, and were not allowed on it as we trample it. Garden will be open at the start of the summer holidays but it is pretty to look at especially when the sun is shining!

A little country lane that me and jake ventured down here to walk his dog of which was an open field where he can run and jump as much as he liked. It was nice just being with Jake, on a summers evening.
 Pretty little buttercup.
Don't know what kind of flower this is, but the colour on it was absolutley stunning! It was a deep purple with speckles of lilac at the tips of the petals. I love the shape of it to its very geometric and still looks very feminine and pretty.
