Starting to get excited for Fuerteventura

Well it's now less than 4 weeks to go, and have been told that our tickets are ready for collection tomorrow! So, naturally me and jake started looking at all the excursions that were available to us!
Most people think that fuerteventura is a spanish island, and although this is true it is actually a neighbour of Africas due to it's location... There are quite a few excursions available to us; as we are going for 10 nights we want to make the most of the island and not just pay alot of money to sit on the beach !! (although a few days is probably acceptable!)
A little map of the island, were staying just under caleta de fuste so right on the beach front and a little further south and is on the african side!!

Were hoping to venture up to the top of the island to Corralejo where they have quaint little fishing harbours, and vast beaches. It also has a colourful friday market which in itself sounds exciting!! i love markets, i love seeing all the traditional crafts and this specialises in african and spanish crafts.. i always try and buy lots of one of jewellery pieces to bring back with me -usually anklets and toe rings! It also has a little quirky lanes to go and visit with waterside restaurants to eat at...Apparently on the beach it is backed with 'gigantic saharan like sand dunes' this could be interesting!!
Theres also an opportunity to go to the bottom of the island to Jandia (home to the windsurfing championships) which is very appealing but it is more of a tranquil place of relaxtion. Although there is another market here too which is never a bad thing!
Another excursion we would like to go on is the boat trip to playa blanca in Lanzarote to see the 'El Gofo' which is a little seaside fishing town, that is home to a vast lake tucked in a volcanic crater and due to the oxidation in the surrounding rocks, it is a pea green colour!
On this excursion we'll also get to go to the Timanfaya National Park which is a landscape that has been dented over 100's of volcanoes. Here you can also go on a camel ride(which i want to brave out and do one!) You're only allowed to see and stand on the landscape with a guide and not allowed on all parts of the land. The scenery will be an experience in itself most probably!
I will continue to look at what is available for us :) Its getting closer, and still have some shopping that needs to be done!!!
