fuerteventura

Me and Jake just got back from a lovely 10 night stay in sunny Fuerteventura,Costa Caleta and would not hesitate in going back again!! We stayed in Caleta, and for the first day we explored the resort, our hotel was on the coastline with just a 5 minute walk to its horseshoe shaped beach... Walking along the coast was very romantic!

We had a jampacked 10 nights, cramming in as much sight seeing the cultural parts of the island. The second day we travelled up to the north of the island to Correlajo. Here we ventured through the markets off Correlajo, the beach and made time to visit and splash about thr Baku waterpark.

I liked in Correlajo, though it was more of a tourist area rather than a place of culture! We also travelled to the south of the island to Jandia, where they have 24km of white sands and turquoise waters, it was the best beach both me and jake have ever been too. After a little bit of sunbathing we walked through the waters to the neighboroughing time of Morro Jable.

It was a very romantic place, and i would do anything to be back there right now! We also went on a day trip via boat and a bus over to it's neighbouring island: Lanzarote. We much prefered Fuerteventura, but glad we could experience part of Lanzarote. The boat trip was quite choppy, but once we were there we saw lots of cultural sights! We had a tour around the Timafaya national park, to see the volcano (that are still active to this day, of which we saw the ash being tested!!) We also took a scenic route through a winery to test some of their own wines, and then ventured further along to see the El Gofo, the pea green lagoon situated on the shoreline, between the mountains.

We've had such an amazing time and met some really lovely people!!

Please take us back there!! will blog more in depth about aspects of our holiday shortly!
