wedding: a day to remember. wedding preparation: a lot to remember

Since my last post we have been looking around at venues to hold our reception at we have found a grade 1 listed medieval building with big open ceilings that are beamed and it's just down the road .... it's so exciting and we haven't even set a date. BUT! The sooner we book a date for a few years time, the more time we have to pay for things so it's not such a heavy blow nearer the time..

So i have thought of a wedding list so we remember to look into every inch of detail surrounding our special day.

venue. wedding favours. tables. chairs. decorations. tablecloths.napkins. invitations. centerpieces. flowers (arrangments/brides/bridesmaids). music(church&venue). menu. caterer. guestbook. marriage license. program.photographer/video. wedding rings. dress.suit. bridesmaids dresses. pageboy suit. jewellery (bride/groom/bridesmaids/pageboy). accessories.transport. place names. cutlery. cake. cake knife.

This is like the basic list i thought of and then tomake it authentic we could add in bits and pieces that we so wish ! I'm sure there will be plenty more to add !

want to start planning my wedding already.

If you read my blog then you'll know that i am happy in love and engaged! & recently i have been thinking i so want to start planning my wedding! Though i know we wouldn't be able to get married until after graduation, i want to set a date already for a few years time and gradually pay for it over the years!! This year and for the years to come i would like to visit some wedding shows to get ideas i love looking at romantic, quirky photos of peoples special days and cannot wait until i have a set of photos for myself!

Because me and jake met when we were just in year 10 at high school we have grown up together, and gotten to know each other slowly, and i love everything about him.

To this day he makes me so happy, it's been nearly 4 years already but it seems like we've been together forever, i feel completley myself and at ease with him... Can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him,i have never felt like i have before, i couldn't imagine a life without him now that he's in it.

Wedding inspiration

I found this site emmalinebride.com through looking through wedding photos on pinterest. Upon reading through her blog i found this really cute idea:

I have been looking through alot of different sites just pasting inspirational imagery and photographs onto my 'wedding page' so i have them for further rederence. I also have set up a pinterest site that contains alot more wedding inspiration. You can follow me on pinterest by clicking on the pinterest button on my blog. I love looking at wedding inspiration, even though it is going to be a long engagement and it is in the far future, it gives me butterflies imagining what it could be like. I cannot wait, when it finally does come round to planning it, all of the anticipation,excitement and all the ideas can come together.
